Macrosort Head corrosion

Hello to all,

Since November 2001, I have needed the Macrosort Head on my FACSVantage SE
replaced 4 times because of corrosion. I am wondering if anyone else has
ever needed a Macrosort Head replaced due to a green-black deposit that pits
the metal of the head. My Vantage SE runs all day long 8-5, at 28 PSI and a
DDF of 51236. I have been using FACSFlow (azide free) as sheath. I use
only 70% ETOH, distilled water, and FACSFlow through the sample line. My
collegue uses this combination as well as bleach.

If anyone has insight on this one, I would appreciate a reply.

Thanks,
