clinical billing issues

Hello -

I remember a while back there have been discussions on the number of antibodies
billed for clinical cases. As I remember, one can only bill each antibody one
time only regardless of the number of times that antibody is used in a
particular panel. For example, I have 16 antibodies in a standard panel, but
since CD20 and CD45 are used multiple times, I truly only bill for 14
antibodies.

I have searched the email archive and cannot find this discussion, so I
apologize for bringing it up again.

If the above is true, could someone point me to a reference for this and if this
is incorrect, could someone please set me straight! :)

Thanks!

Abby
