Yes.  I phrased this incorrectly.  Bob Leif is right.  I was trying to say that, to
people from continents other than North America,  Canada (in general) and the United
States (in general)  are fairly similar to each other in terms of travel costs and
also in terms of their own government's regulations on "foreign" travel.  Obviously,
people from Asia, Australia, and NZ will find it cheaper to get to the west coast
(of either Canada or the US). And people from Europe will like the east coast better.

My main point is,  however,  that we need to move the ISAC meetings around to share
out the occasional  benefits of cheaper travel.
