To all flow-ers in the NIH Bethesda area...

The NCI ETIB Flow lab will be having an NIH-wide hands-on workshop
with the NPE Systems cellular research analyzer on Wednesday and
Thursday, May 1st and 2nd
. The NPE AnalyzerTM combines extremely
sensitive Coulter volume measurement with high resolution flow cytometric
fluorescence excitation/ emission detection, permitting far more accurate
sizing of both intact cells and nuclei and correlation with fluorescent DNA
content. This technology promises to give new insights into cell and nuclear
morphology in both normal and tumor cells. You can learn more about the
NPE analyzer at
http://www.npesystems.com.

The instrument will be available starting at 10:00 AM on Wednesday,
May 1st in Building 10 room 12C121
. If you plan to bring cells, contact me
by e-mail or at 5-6379 to arrange a time and necessary supplies.

Take care,

Bill Telford
