I need more specifics.  On what and with what are you trying to open them?
The same platform and software with which they were generated?  If so, then
you may need to talk to BD.   If the files have been "passed" through a PC,
then practically you can only open them on a PC with WinMDI.  You can't go
back to a mac with the same file unless you change some file attributes one
of the Norton Utilities (again, I'd seek BD's counsel here).

Right off the top, I'd suggest WinMDI as a third party program, which is
great for generating figures for grants and papers.

But to the question...  as long as the file hasn't been passed through
another platform, it should be capable of being opened by CellQuest.
