I have seen several sites where the metallic tanks typically seen on
sorters are used. Cytek also sells a pump system which uses the 20
liter cubes sold by BD as source and waste containers. We use that
system here on both our Caliburs, and have been quite satisfied with
it. It does make your setup look a little messier and occasionally
one of the sensor wires breaks, but in general it sure beats filling
and emptying those plastic containers.
