I have several investigators sorting single cells on our MoFlo for
RT-PCR.  One of them started with the method published in 5th Ed. Weir
Handbook of Exp. Immunology vol1 p13.  For best recovery you will want to
make sure your sorted cells travel straight rather than being in an angled
deflected stream.
