I can't remember what I said before but this is our set up with which we have no problem running CellQuest. CellQuest 3.1 (not 3.3, so I don't know if that makes any difference) PowerMac G4 (AGP graphics) Mac OS Z1-9.1 (international english) 192 MB of RAM ADB CellQuest Dongle attached to Griffin iMate (driver 2.6.1) We have two identical machines like this that are used for analysis (mainly with FlowJo, but some CellQuest). They shipped with 9.0.2, and were updated to 9.0.4 and then 9.1 with the downloadable updaters. CellQuest was copied over from the G3/266 which they replaced (which I think had been copied over from the 7300/180 which it replaced). Adrian PS I assume you are aware that your G4 powerbook doesn't have the standard OS 9.1 (I think the Finder is 9.1.1 and some other components are different). I wonder if that might be part of the problem? Have you tried CellQuest with other machines running 9.1 (ie machines which did not ship with 9.1 but were upgraded to it).
