Cytokine Technical Specialist

We are in the process of launching a family of cytokine secretion assays using
Gel Microdrop encapsulation and flow cytometry.

This unique format permits assessment of multiple secreted cytokines and surface
markers simultaneously on viable cells. Sub-populations of antigen specific cells
can be propagated for further analysis or immunotherapy. Th1 and Th2 sub-populations
can be generated from mitogen or antigen stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
Cytotoxic T cell clones can be programmed to kill tumor cells in vitro.
Lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic and stem cells can be encapsulated.
Secreted IFN, IL-4, IL-10, TNF, IL-12 can be assayed simultaneously with surface markers.

Company Background: One Cell Systems is developing a family of single cell
secretion growth, and in situ hybridization assays using microencapsulation
and flow cytometry. The Company is currently screening hybridoma and transfected
cells for bioprocessing customers on site or through technology transfer using a similar
secretion assay format.

Experience: Must have significant experience using commercially available cytokine reagents
and instrumentation. Flow cytometry analysis and sorting experience are necessary for
customer and vendor interactions. Assist in assessing reagents, developing protocols and
interfacing with beta site laboratories and distributors. Ph.D. and solid background in a
commercial environment are preferred.

Location: Cambridge, MA near MIT, Harvard and the Medical School Complex.

Compensation: Competitive Salary, 401K and Founders Equity Shares available.
