Thank you to everyone who responded to my inquiry. I have summed up the responses for all of you who requested information. It seems that Fileguard is the favorite. Fileguard: 4 people responded that this is their first choice. One did mention that it required "crafty" installation, but it was worth the effort. Text files are easily converted into Excel or other spreadsheet programs MacAdministrator: 1 person is using this program. SuperLock Pro by a company called Trivectus was recommended also.
