The FDA mandated control material is normal assayed blood diluted in leucoreduced whole blood. I have had trouble with the high dilution (1:1000) required to make the control. I'm unable to get reproducibility. Two commercial companies have also had problems making an FDA approvable product. Anyone out there perform this test and have any advice on obtaining acceptable controls??
