Any alternatives? Hi- I've been doing this daily, but (this week, as a matter of fact) have come to think that it may be unneccesary. Because the pmt voltages jump around a bit more than the Scan's ever did, I thought I might run FACScomp once a week, Mondays, and a CDCheck tube (say, 3/8/45/4). Then, on subsequent days, run the CDCheck tube and compare the fluorescent intensities of a given population to the Monday locations of same. I can determine the allowable difference in fl intensity from day-to-day or the week's beginning-end by reviewing a few weeks of data. Potential problems are degradation of CDChex (over one week??) and documentation of sensitivity measurements daily. Any thoughts on that? sharon Sharon F.
