Human NK cells (and probably mouse) have high levels of P-glycoprotein, a multidrug resistance efflux pump that transports a number of substrates including Indo-1. Most other lymphocytes also have P-gp but at lower levels. Cyclosporin A at a final conc of 2 uM will reverse the effects of the P-gp. The most well-known reversing agent is verapamil but since it is a calcium channel blocker, you will need to use the CSA instead.
