Paul, The 1-3% CD56+ lymphs is probably about right. We don't use this marker to identify NK cells in rhesus, since it appears to be expressed only on a small subset. A better marker is CD16, in combination with CD3 and/or CD8 if possible (most if not all rhesus NK cells are CD8+).
