Dear all,

IMHO this sounds like a problem with the gas pressure/tube voltage circuit.
When we had such a laser, the Coulter engineer used to stress the importance of
calibrating this circuit regularly. He showed me how to do it and I succeeded in
calibrating it several times. However I was always uneasy and ended up deciding
that the risk of electrocution was too high, we reverted back to paying Coulter to
do it for us. Anyway, it may be worth enquiring if your tube can be fixed or if it
irreversibly damaged.
