The concentration of PMA for oxidative burst depends on the cells youa re 
using. For example the maximal activation of human PMN can be achieved 
with 100 nm/ml PMA - but for rats it is abotu 10 ng/ml.
The PMA should be in DMSO. I suggest that you make the PMA up in 
small lots and put it at -20C - it will keep for years that way. Once you thaw 
it out, toss it out though.
