Fluo4/Fura Red

I thank you for the replies to the Fluo4/Fura Red question I posted. The main
problem was that I was trying to use a log scale where I should be using linear.
Gimme a break, I hadn't done a Calcium Flux assay in about 2 years. OK, so my
problem went away, but why? When measuring Fluo4 in FL1 and Fura Red in FL3
compensation (a lot) was needed in both directions. I run using linear scales
and I don't need any compensation. Why is that?
