We have been using Fisher microcentrifuges routinely for years. We spin 1 ml
tubes at approximately 5000-6000 rpm (2400-3400g) for 1 minute (setting # 4
or 4.5). We have never had any problems at these speeds and have processed
many different types of cells at these conditions.
