centrifugation

Hello, We're wondering what everyone out there in the flow world is
using as centrifuges for immunophenotyping and at what speed. We were
asked to use the serofuge for centrifugation to save time but we're
concerned about excess speed that may cause clumping and other
artifacts. We're currently centrifuging our samples at 340g - 1250rpm
for 5 mins.with brake on at "2". The CDC MMWR recommends no more than
400g. The Lo setting on our serofuge is at 500g - 2400rpm. We would
appreciate very much for any input. Thanks in advance. Nancy Gin -
