Dear flowers, We have an intermittant fault on the forward scatter of our Vantage. For some reason it stops responding. As a consequence, when viewing a dot plot of foward v side scatter, the population of beads/cells remains stretched across the side scatter axis, rather than producing a population of beads/cells with distinct forward and side scatter properties. Everyone here (including engineers) seem at a loss to what is causing this. Has anyone out had a similar problem? If so, what is the likely cause. Thanks in anticipation, Jonathan Welsh Jonathan Welsh PhD Molecular Immunology, The Babraham Institute, Cambridge CB2 4AT. E-mail: jonathan.welsh@bbsrc.ac.uk
