The Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center located in Manhattan, New York has
an vacancy for an experienced flow cytometry specialist to run the FACS
core facility.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to oversee the benchtop cytometry
service, operate the three laser MoFlo cell sorter and to advise on all
aspects of flow cytometry. The successful candidate will have several years
flow cytometry experience and be familiar with benchtop flow cytometers,
cell preparation and staining procedures and cell sorting (preferably using
MoFlo).

The Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, directed by Dr. David Ho M.D.,
focuses on efforts  to increase understanding of the structure and function
of HIV and to define the mechanism by which it destroys the immune system.
It is the largest private HIV/AIDS research center in the world.   Housed
in the NY City Public Health Building, the center has sophisticated
laboratories, sizable research support, and strong academic and clinical
affiliations with the Rockefeller University that  allow it to vigorously
pursue its mission.
