Protein Design Labs' interdisciplinary approach to drug discovery
integrates computer-based deign with molecular biology, immunology and
protein chemistry.   Our continued growth & success has created an
exciting opportunity in our new, state-of-the-art Fremont, CA facility for
an experienced Cell Sorter Operator.

You will be responsible for our core cytometry facility (containing
FACStar Plus, FACScan and FACSCalibur flow cytometers) and perform
research in the areas of molecular biology, immunology and microbiology. 
You will also organize/maintain GLP documentation & cytometer records;
train/educate users; help design/execute flow cytometry experiments; and
prepare technical reports.  Candidates must possess a BS/MS in a
biological science or equivalent; 2-8 years of directly applicable
experience in immunology & molecular biology; a solid understanding of
flow cytometry, fluorescence activated cell sorting, and scientific
principles (specifically basic immunology); and familiarity with
Becton-Dickinson FACStar Plus, FACScan and FACSCalibur flow cytometry. 
Demonstrated cell sorting experience a must.
