T cell line synchronization

I am having no luck in my attempt to synchronize EL4 and S49 (both T
cell lines) cells in either G0, G1, or early S phase. I have attempted
ILE depravation, aphidicholine treatment, and varying times in Mimosene,
or hydroxyurea. The best I could accomplish without killing all of my
cells was a 16 hour incubation period in either mimosene or hydroxyurea,
which resulted in about 60% of cells blocked at the appropriate stage as
measured by PI. I was hoping I could do a lot better than that, and was
wondering if anyone in this list has experience in synchronization of T
cell lines that leaves the cells viable for experimentation upon
release.

Thanks to all in advance.
