Annexin FITC and formalin fixation

Does anyone know if formalin fixation damages either FITC or phosphatidyl
serine?  I want to add annexin-FITC to apoptotic cells, formalin fix the
cell, then analyze the sample on the flowcytometer the next day.  I am
worried that the formalin with damage the FITC or the phosphatidyl serine.
