Hi

You don't say if its human material you are staining, its very common in
Macaques to see double positive cells, sometimes accounting for a third or
more of total lymphocytes. As you work for the army I suspect your subjects
are mostly human , I see it at very low frequency in humans maybe 1 or 2
percent at most, I put it down to artifact, doublets or something.

What species and what frequency? If the frequency is quite high and its
human sounds like one for our hematology experts out there.
