Dear Robin
There is several CD1a mAb in the market. One that always work is from Ortho
and you can purchase it either FITC or PE labelled. Becton Dickinson has
also another CD1a that is also good. Serotec also has one.
Be aware that if you use it in combination with another mAb for two color
staining, the compensation should be almost perfect. Or you will easily see
false positive staining (Increase MFI) for your other mAb. One combination
that will work could be CD1a FITC vs HLA-DR PE. Never forget that DC has
strong Fc receptors that could increase your background.
