Enterprise 621 laser drift

Hello everyone. I have a question pertaining to a phenomenon I have
observed with my Coherent 621 laser (produces 488 & UV simultaneously). I'm
using a BD FACSVAntage with TSO and am looking at the 621's intercept using
the video monitor. The laser is using house water for cooling and the
temperature of the water is about 60 degrees F.

I have noticed that when I fire the laser up in the morning the intercept
is at 47 (arbitrary video unit) and after about 3 hours of warming up the
intercept has moved down the stream to 53.

Has anyone else seen this intercept movement in these lasers? Doesn't this
movement mean problems for proper drop timing? Is 3 hours a normal warmup
time for a laser such as this?

Thanks - may the sort be with you,
Barry
