You're probably correct; my observations are that cultured cells often
give me this kind of problem, and the common thing has been culture
media containing some fluorescent indicator.
I assumed the obvious, and have not bothered to find out what else is
in the media.

Thanks for adding to my education, I'll extract the hoof from the intake
and see if we can investigate further..
