Haywood I hardly use any Dako antibodies so cant really comment there. I do have a Medimachine. I bought it a while back for generating cell suspensions from gastric biopsies. Other methods of mechanical disruption seemed too dangerous to use with HIV infected samples. The machine is small, fits nicely in the hood, well made but very expensive. I'd ask for a demo for a week or two before you buy. For me it works OK, probably as good as any mechanical method and is safe. Cell yields and viability ain't great, enzymatic disruption gives much better yields for GALT tissue but takes longer and can change some phenotypic markers. Hope this helps Simon Monard Aaron Diamond Center NYC
