DAKO products experiences

I have just had a visit from our local DAKO salesman. He presented me with a
new catalog and some advertisement information. Since DAKO is more popular
perhaps in immunocytochemistry than it is in flow cytometry, their prices for
their antibodies (single color, dual color and tri-color mixes) were much more
attractive than the top three or four antibody manufacturers that we normally
use for flow cytometry.

This leads me to ask two questions:

1. For those flowers out there using DAKO products, what have been your
experiences? Do the antibodies perform up to the standards of other
manufacturer's? How does their fluorochrome performance compare? What
prompted you to choose DAKO over other name brands?

2. Is there anyone out their using their new "Medimachine System" for
standardization in the preparation of cell suspensions from solid tissues.
At first glance, it looks pretty neat but I am not convinced about the cost
effectiveness or performance. If anyone can comment on either I would be
very interested. We do a lot of solid tissue analyses and it might be a
real boon as a standardized approach to disaggregation.

Any and all comments are welcomed and appreciated.
