Eosinophils are readily identifiable in most leucocyte preps.  They run as
a discrete subpopulation (on a BD FACSort) in a forward-scatter (X) versus
side-scatter plot (Y), above the neutrophils and maybe just slightly behind
them (don't turn the side-scatter gain too high, or you'll lose them out
the top of your plot).  Also, if you draw a gate around them and look at
this in any fluorescence channel you'll find them to be more
autofluorescent than other leucocytes.
