Southern Biotechnology Associates, Inc. (SBA) was founded in 1982 to develop, manufacture and market high quality immunochemicals for biomedical research. The facility consists of approximately 11,000 square feet and houses all necessary corporate functions including: Product Development Manufacturing Quality Control Marketing & Sales Business Development Customer and Technical Service Administrative and Executive Offices SBA also leases and operates an Animal Facility approximately twenty miles from our corporate offices and laboratories. This facility consists of 30,000 square feet of space for housing mice, rabbits, goats and chickens used in production and quality control. Also present are facilities for maintenance of normal and immunocompromised mice used for ascites production. The facility is USDA approved and registered. The company currently has approximately 30 employees. The key personnel have extensive experience in product development, reagent manufacturing, quality control, marketing & sales, and business development.
