Permeablizing GFP Cells?

I am wondering if I should expect any problems with GFP fluorescence if I
stain my cells in a solution of PI (50ug/ml), Triton X-100 (0.1%), and sodium
citrate (0.1%) overnight at 4'C. I would also appreciate any general
information on the compatibility (or incompatibility, as I understand it) of
GFP with fixatives (formaldehyde, ethanol, etc.).
