Becton Dickinson sent us a cleaning schedule involving Extran 300(from BDH)

Basically, it was:
1. Allow the machine to aspirate about 1ml of 4% Extran 300/Distilled
water.
2. Remove tube and aspirate 1ml of distilled water.
3. Leave tube in position and shut down machine with water still
in tube.

I have found no crystallisation problems with this method.
