Could you please put this message on the flow cytometry bulletin board. I seem
to be able to get messages but have trouble sending them in. Thanks, Susan
Koethe, Medical College of Wisconsin.
We have been using Calcium Green-1(Molecular Probes) and flow cytometry to
measure changes in intracellular Ca++ in neutrophils stimulated with fMLP and
other activating agents. The advantage of this dye is that it can be excited
at 488nm. There is very little in the literature about use of this dye with
peripheral blood cells and flow cytometry. We have generated a lot of data
and would like to discuss it with anyone who has had experience with Calcium
Green-1 or 2 or even fluo-3 and peripheral blood cells, especially neutrophils.
Thanks in advance,
Susan Koethe
