Experienced Flow Cytometry Technologist

You will manage a busy flow cytometry facility consisting of a new (August
1996) BDIS FACS Vantage dual laser cell sorter with turbo sort.
Responsibilities include the operation, calibration, scheduling, data
management and routine maintenance of the FACS facility instrumentation.
You will be required to extract and formulate methods and techniques from
scientific journals, articles and conferences relating to flow cytometry.
You will be responsible for record keeping, ordering and maintaining
inventory. Ph.D., or M.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences with work
experience with mammalian cell cultures, cell culture techniques, strong
background in standard immunological methods. 3-5 years' experience with
FACS Vantage or FACSTARPLUS as well as experience in an academic, clinical,
or corporate biomedical research environment. Experience with computer
operation systems is essential.
