Moe, Larry the CHEESE !!!!

Well Curley, having spent some time playing different parts in this comedy
routine I suggest you do some serious detective work (Columbo Style).

We have had good success using the tandem conjugates from several companies
but we have also received a few bum reagents from time to time. Here are a
few suggestions on what to try to check ou the machine.

1. Try checking the alignment with all the filters in using beads. Check to
see that the far red and green maximize response at nearly the same setup.
If not go directly to Moe and do not collect $200.00

2. Try moving your red filter up to a PMT closer to the front using a 99%
reflector in the dichroic slot. This should help identify a problem with
either the PMT or a dichroic in the path.

3. Try out your samples on Larry's machine (Slowly he turns, step by step,
inch by inch ...).

4. Have Moe and Larry come out and buy you a beer.

Good Luck!!
