Resale prices, used cytometers

This is a very slightly edited query I got, that I'm re-sending to the
entire group.

Also, we are thinking about trying to purchase a "refurbished" or
"used/not abused" FACScan or something similar. Do you, or the
group, have any experience or know of recent posts on the same subject?
I am interested in resale prices, availability of such machines, things to
be aware of in making such a purchase. Also, what is the current "new"
price of similar machines.
