Hi everyone again. Well, the saga continues on trying to get elite
software running on my Gateway 2000, 486, 66 mhz!!. The problem is this.
We are connected to a VAX running pathworks. When we "point" to the M:
drive within the utilities menu of the Elite software, the screen freezes,
and the software hangs up. The mystery of all mysteries is that the Elite
software runs just fine ( you can connect to the M: drive) in all
computers (except this Gateway) that we have tested i.e. it does just fine
on a 1) Gateway 2000, 486 25 mhz 2) the Elite computer (386) 3) a Zeos
386, 25 mhz and believe it or not 4) a Zeos 486, 66 mhz!!!!! This has got
our computer guys here completely bamboozled! My Gateway is loaded up
with plenty of memory (15.0 meg).

Does anyone have any idea (or do they have a Gateway running this
configuration) what is going on. I am about ready to throw out (or trade)
this Gateway for a Zeos!!! Whoo boy!

Thanks in advance for any help!!
