Last week I announced the release of version 3.4D of my free PC-based
list-mode cytometry data analysis program MFI, available for retrieval by
anonymous FTP from flowcyt.bio.umass.edu in directory /pub/flowcyt/mfi.

I have today added a detailed tutorial which will lead new users through
most of MFI's capabilities using the sample data provided (a one-color
titration, and a 3-color human leukocyte sample). The tutorial is packaged
together with the sample data in a self-unpacking ZIP file, MFITUTOR.EXE.
This package is also intended for sites where HP to PC file transfer is not
yet implemented, but where people wish to try out MFI.

(MFITUTOR.EXE supercedes MFIDATA1.EXE.)
