LOGARITHMIC AMPLIFIERS FOR CONFOCAL LASER SCANNING MICROSCOPES

We would like to add logarithmic amplifiers to our confocal laser
scanning microscope in order to improve the dynamic range of the
instrument. A major problem for most commercially supplied amplifiers
seems to be the high signal throughput on each channel. The standard
speed is 800 kHz but may be decreased to 100 kHz if necessary.
Does anyone know a commercial source for such an amplifier?
Thanks for any help,
