What are the recommended procedures for cleaning Brewster windows?
An associate here at the University of Colorado tells me that he has
cleaned laser Brewster windows using a paste of calcium carbonate. He
swears that this was actually recommended as part of a cleaning kit
for Spectra Physics lasers and that it usually brought the laser back
to or greater than the original output specs. Has anyone else ever
tried this?
