I recently picked up a book entitled, "Antibodies: A Laboratory Manual" by
Harlow and Lane (Cold Springs Harbor, 1988) available from Sigma for $70.
It covers the basics about antibodies, addressing some of the questions I
recently asked here, and one chapter discusses antibody conjugations,
including enzymes, biotin, and fluorochromes. Avidin conjugations are not
included, and this book does not discuss flow cytometry, but it is very
straight forward and ideal for beginners.
