Charles, are you using a Power Macintosh or the Quadra 650 ??.

We have a Quadra 650 on our FACSCaliber and have some difficulty with
communication between the instrument and cytometer but only during startup -
once connection is established everything works fine :-)

I am looking forward to the new PowerMac version to solve this problem ...
perhaps I'm a little naive, but that's the way we are "down under"
