Mike,
We also use an Elite ESP for 4-colour analysis, however, we use ECD (ie.
FITC, PE, ECD & PerCP) instead of APC so that all the fluorochromes are
excitable with one laser (488 nm). Fluorescence is collected on PMT2-5, and
compensations range between 0.2 to 46.7% (details upon request)...works
everytime! We are now looking at dyes emitting in the infrared and far uv
regions for the 5th and 6th colour analysis. Hope this help.
