Steve,

I use Endnote Plus 2.0 but on the Mac, (although I think the Windows
version should be the same..). It's great, does all of what you want, and
integrates into Word with a PlugIn (don't know if this exist in the Windows
World), which means that with Word 5.1 Mac you can use Endnote from within
Word, format and unformat references etc... import capabilities depend on
the filters, but there are plenty, and if your OCR Scanning works well, you
should be able to import.. for the online databases - Medline format or
ProCite as well as Refer/X are recognized, so there should be no problems
for the import.

I don't know much about the others, Ref Man I've only tried 4 years ago in
a Dos Version, and didn't like it at that time, but I understand from the
Windows world that this is apparently the Reference for Reference
Managers...

Hope that helps,

Matthias
