Hi Steve,

We use Papyrus for several databases with up to 4,000 references in each.
I import from Current Contents, Medline, Biological Abstracts, Academic
Abstracts. It takes a lot of time and effort to setup the various formats
for importing, but once there done it's easy. You're welcome to a copy of
my formats.

I don't have experience of any of the other packages.
