Regarding the upgrade for a FACS analyzer, an excellent way to do this,
though you have to come up with some bucks, is to buy a Cytomation Cyclops
system (Cytomation, Inc., Ft. Collins, CO, tel: 970-226-2200). This has the
ADCs and software to do data collection and analysis and interfaces to any
flow system. I have 2 systems, one hooked up to an EPICS V and one to a home-
built flow cytometer and they work very well.
