JOB TITLE:
Visiting Postdoctoral Research Associate

DUTIES:
Flow Cytometric analysis of aquatic biomass, specifically bacteria.
Participate in the designing and implementation of analysis of water samples
from various water sources such as rivers, lakes, and ponds in the state of
Illinois. Determine how seasonal application of pesticides affects the
overall bacterial communities. The individual is expected to write
scientific papers and present results at scientific meetings.

SALARY:
Commensurate with training and experience. This is a full-time academic,
non-tenure track position. The position is presently funded for one year.

TRAINING:
A Ph.D. in Agronomy, Microbiology, or related field. Knowledge of flow
cytometry is desired but not required.

STARTING DATE:
October 1, 1995 or when a suitable candidate is available.

CLOSING DATE:
