My question is: does anybody know if there is a difference between
Annexin V
and monoclonal Ab against phosphatidylserine in labelling early apoptotic

Thank you in advance

Yes there are several differences the main one being that annexin V is a
[Ca++] dependent binding peptide with very high affinity, removal of
calcium from the buffer causes annexin V to fall off the cell rapidly
allowing restaining after sorting. (annexin V can be fixed to the cell at
high [Ca++] if you don't want it to fall off yet wish to use a low
[Ca++] buffer after staining. I don't know about the availability of Ab but
annexin V is available conjugated to fluorescein from BRAND Applications
BV, and requests for information and supply can be made by fax +31 4499
